This is an easy recipe that doesn’t require too much skill and is very healthy and tasty.
Ingredients (3-4 portions)
- Soya meat slices (slices made of soy flour) 200g
- 2 sacks of white rice
- Bell pepper (1 pepper per portion)
Kitchen equipment:
- 2 big pots
- Colander
- Frying pan
- Turner
Directions
Take the first pot, add water, add a lot of salt, make it boil, and cook the soya meat slices in the boiling water for 25 minutes.
In the meantime, pour water into the second pot and also add a lot of salt. Make the water boil and then add the two rice sacks.
Cook the rice alongside with the soya slices for 15-20 minutes, then switch off the heat and take the sacks out. I recommend to pour the hot water with the sacks on a collander, otherwise, be careful when pulling the sacks out (a fork can help).
After 25 minutes of cooking, turn off the heat under the pot with the soya meat slices.
Take a frying pan and heat up around 2-3 tablespoons of oil on it. Add the first batch of soya meat slices and fry for 4 minutes on each side. Then add more oil and fry 1-2 more batches until there are no more slices remaining in the pot.
Add seasoning of your choice on the rice and soya meat slices, e.g. soya sauce, and cut 1-2 bell peppers as a vegetable add-on to this tasty meal.
Serve.
