Cabbage is a wonder vegetable and an excellent source of nutrients, minerals, and vitamins, and it’s especially high in Vitamin K. This vegetable is found almost all over the world and can be consumed in many forms. This very light tasty salad is a blend of green and purple cabbage accompanied with carrots and red bell peppers which helps fight cholesterol and aids weight management.
Kitchen Tools:
- Vegetable cutter
- Salad mixing bowl
- Spoon to mix the salad
Ingredients (2 serving):
- 150 grams of purple cabbage (¼ of a whole cabbage)
- 150 grams of green cabbage (¼ of a whole cabbage)
- 2 medium-sized carrots
- 1 tomato
- 1 whole red bell pepper (red capsicum)
- ½ bunch/stuck lettuce
- 1/2 English cucumber or 1 full garden cucumber or 2 baby cucumbers
- 30 grams of black raisins (optional)
- Vegan mayo Sauce
- Mustard sauce
- Tomato ketchup
- Salt as needed
Procedure:
- Shred the cabbages (cut them long)
- Cut the lettuce leaf
- Cut the cucumber, tomato, and red bell peppers (red capsicum) into medium sizes
- Grate the carrots
- Bring all into a salad mixing bowl
- Squeeze tomato ketchup, mustard sauce, and mayo sauce
- Add raisins
- Add salt as per your need (Usually 1 to 2 teaspoons)
- Mix all and the salad is ready to be consumed.
